Optical Encder with Optical Fiber Cable
for Perfect Explosion Proof and Control from Distant Place
Four features are added to the optical encoder, replaceing an electric cable with the optical fiber cable.
(1) Encoder signals are transfered by optical communication system, no electric noises are output and a control
in an anchoic chanber is possible.
(2) Perfect explasion proof is made as the encoder is not out of influence like electric noise,
electromagnetic induction, thunder etc.
(3) Light source LED and photo detector are not incuded in the encoder but in the controller placed far from
the encoder. Therefore, the encoder can stand agaist higher temperature than ordinary optical encoders.
(4) Depending on the requirement, a control from 20Km distance can be made. Satandard cable length 10m
