Astec JR Series, represented by JR205, can withstand harsh environments like strong mechanical Shock & Vibration, high Temperature, Dusts & Textile fibers, Oil & Oil mists, High humidity, Chemicals, Ink, etc.

The followings are typical applications for the magnetic rotary encoder Astec JR Series.

Examples of Suitable Applications for Magnetic Encoders Click here for Plasma Cutter use information. Magnetic Rotary Encoder, Astec JR Seroes
The above shown machines are a part of suitable applications for magnetic encoders. As the hollow shaft bore size of Astec JR series is Ř8mm or Ř6.35mm (Ř1/4"), motor needs to be medium size. MOC_Mitaka is handling larger magnetic encoders and smaller ones also. MOC Mitaka can meet motor shat sizes from smaller than Ř1mm trough larger than Ř200mm.

Magnetic Rotary Encoder, Astec JR Series

In the case the JR Encodere in your hand was made by Astec, the model number is written with full name like JR205D 1000 CAF, for example.
However, when you have an encoder made by Sokki Electronis before 1991, the model number may not be clear. Model numbers of encoders are faded away in many cases as they were made more than 30 years ago.

Then, please send us a picture like shown above. If you could tell us the the ”machine or motor model number" and ”machine or motor maker name”, that will help us to identify the equivalent made by Astec.
