JR205 Series: Selection of F (Grounded) or N (not Grounded)
Incremental Encoders, Magnetic Rotary Encoder made by Astec (Taiho Products)
since1991 are the successors of Rotary Jiki Scale made by Sokki Electronics until 1990. The present Magnetic Rotary Encoder JR205 Series made by Astec has the model number on the label attached to the perphery of cover, like "JR205D 1000 CAF" fully. However, in the case of Rotary Jiki Scale JR205 made by Sokki Electronics until 1990 is not showing full part number. The numbers following to JR205 vanished after long time elaps. Only JR205 can be seen in many cases.  If the Jiki Scake is already wornout, take the cover off to see the connection of the cable. But while Jiki Scale is still working, do not take the cover off. The encoders were assembled in a clean room. Ask the engineer of the machine maker who desinged the revolution speed control of motor or spindle of the machine.
